Malema Calls MySol a “Small Boy” at EFF Rally

EFF leader Julius Malema labelled North West mining businessman Solomon “MySol” Soka Madibela a “small boy” during a party rally at Letlhabile Stadium on Saturday.

Speaking to supporters, Malema insisted the country’s mineral wealth must benefit ordinary people. “These mines will service our people, these mines will not service My Sol,” he said. “My Sol se voet. You must tell him that he’s a small boy to me.” The remark drew a strong response from the crowd.

The comments follow MySol’s earlier claim that a political party president has turned against him after he declined an invitation to the party’s gala dinner. MySol said the president responded by declaring “MySol se foet.”

Malema’s latest attack continues a pattern of public criticism of the businessman, whom he has previously questioned over the source of his wealth and associations.

MySol, who built his mining and logistics operation from modest beginnings in the North West, has not yet responded to the latest remarks.
