Tonse Alliance candidate in the Mandevu by-election, Daniel Chisenga, says him and his cadres had to scamper for safety yesterday after they were attacked by UPND cadres during their scheduled ECZ campaigns in Raphael Chota ward, ahead of next month’s by-election.
Speaking with Daily Revelation yesterday, Chisenga, who is former Lusaka mayor, said they were peacefully conducting their campaign activities when UPND cadres appeared from several directions and attacked their campaign gathering.

Just campaign peacefully, whether UPND wins or loses Mandevu does not add or subtract anything. Even in 2021, HH was sworn in without Mandavu results, the same in 2026. Moreover UPND has never won Mandevu before, you can retain it, it matters less to UPND, we already have the needed numbers in Parliament.
