Musonda confirmed as Zambia Daily Mail managing editor
ZAMBIA Daily Mail Limited board of directors has confirmed Emelda Libanga Musonda as managing editor and will deputise the newspaper company managing director Simate Simate.
Mr Simate confirmed the appointment of Musonda, a journalist, in a staff memorandum yesterday.
“This serves to advise that the board of directors has approved the appointment of Mrs Emelda Libanga Musonda in the position of managing editor for Zambia Daily Mail Limited,” Mr Simate said.
“This appointment took effect on 18th March, 2024.”
“The board of directors and management wish to congratulate Mrs Emelda Libanga Musonda on this very important and well-deserved appointment and wish her and the editorial team success as they continue to deliver on our editorial mandate.”
