NAMIBIA GIVES PROPHETESS NAISE 24 HOURS TO LEAVE AND NEVER COME BACK
NAMIBIAN Immigration authorities have this evening given self-styled Zambian pentecostal celebrity known to her followers as prophetess Naise 24 hours to leave the country.
The Diva preacher woman was arrested and detained on Saturday after authorities stormed a church conference in the capital city, Windhoek where she was illegally staging miracles.
The Namibian authorities stepped in to prevent citizens from falling prey to what they believed was a potential scam.
The conference which suspiciously coincided with payday for many workers in Namibia, was urging attendees to “sow a generous seed” in exchange for blessings in finance, marriage, career and even travel to exotic holiday destinations.
While in detention, Naise fell ill and was taken to a hospital where authorities decided to release her on humanitarian grounds.
“She was given a report order at 17:00 hours to leave Namibia at her own cost within 24 hours and never come back,” a Namibian immigration official told Kalemba.
The official revealed that Naise is due to fly out of Namibia tomorrow. She was due to appear in court on Wednesday.
Kalemba
Well done Namibia.
Unlike the useless authorities in Zambia who tolerate scammers.
I agree entirely. The corruption of religion has reached intolerable levels on Zambia.
