NEW TEACHERS MUST JUST REPORT ON SEPTEMBER 15 – GRZ
Government has maintained that the deadline for all recently recruited teachers to report in their new stations remains 15th September, 2022.
Education Minister, Douglas Syakalima says he expects all teachers to have taken up their posts by the deadline which is in public domain.
Meanwhile, Syakalima has warned of severe action against any senior Ministry of Education official delaying the process of integrating the new teachers in the government system.
Speaking when he met officials from his constituency at his office, the Minster tasked District Education Board Secretaries-DEBS- countrywide to ensure they speed up the placement of new teachers on the payroll.
He noted that he has given officials in his ministry enough time to settle down following the change of government last year and the time to work is now.
