OASIS FORUM CALLS FOR RECONCILIATION BETWEEN HH, ECL
The Oasis Forum has reached out to President Hakainde Hichilema and his predecessor, former President Edgar Lungu, urging them to engage in dialogue to address the escalating political tension in the country.
Former President Lungu has shown willingness to engage in dialogue with President Hichilema contingent the talks would border on restoring the rule of law and country’s democracy, which according to the United Nations Human Rights Commission (UNHRC) has shrunk to the lowest level, ever since the UPND ascended to power.
