OpenAI has wrapped up one of the largest private funding rounds ever, pulling in $122 billion in committed capital and hitting a post-money valuation of $852 billion.
The company claims $2 billion in monthly revenue, with growth running four times faster than early Alphabet and Meta. ChatGPT now has over 900 million weekly active users and more than 50 million subscribers.
Search usage has nearly tripled in the past year, while an ads pilot hit $100 million in annualized revenue in just six weeks.
Enterprise revenue makes up more than 40 percent of the total and is expected to reach parity with consumer revenue by the end of 2026. The APIs handle over 15 billion tokens per minute, and usage of tools like Codex keeps climbing fast.
