PARENTS SHOULD BE ARRESTED FOR NEGLIGENCE MWEWA APPEALS

CHITAMBALA Mwewa a property manager of Simoson building has appealed for authorities to arrest and charge the parents for negligence.

According to Mwewa in developed countries the parents of the three children who perished in a house fire should have been subjected to intense questioning on why that tragedy happened.

“Leaving little children locked up in a house is negligence. In other countries the parents would have been arrested and charged with ‘Negligence’ but in Zambia we ignore that fact.

The fire department needs to inform the public on what actaully caused the fire. Had there been an adult present, the story would have been different. The parents were at fault” – says Mwewa

  1. Who else is advocating for the rights of these children.
Who leave children in house at that age? For once this Mwewa lane is right.

  2. The death of their Children has already pierced their souls to unimaginable levels, what else do you want thrown at the Parents as if the death of their children was something they planned? Even if you wanted to take that path of prosecuting them, i dont think they can deny any facts bearing on the guilty the father carries already. The death of their Children has weakened them physically, emotionally and psychologically, they will readily accept any charge thrown at them anything a reasonable parent would not deny. They have been and will be through a lot with the death of the children, and death is something no one has power over or can prevent when the time comes. What the parents need are prayers, encouragement and support. What yo could be doing Mwewa is advocating for something that would enhance the protection of children further and not inflicting further punishment on the parents of the children we lost already.

  3. Ba Mwewa, allow the parents to those children to mourn. Stop your insensitivity. There is no way those parents would have wished for their children to die in the manner they did. They will leave to blame themselves for this for the rest of their lives. As if that is not enough, do not add more anguish to their lives. Grow up, Mwewa!

  4. Mr. Mwewa, even if they would be charged and found guilty, I really don’t know what sentence would be more painful than what they are already experiencing. Mr. Mwewa employee your energy in enhancing the protection of children, then we will be on the same side. May the souls of the three small little angels holding hands together fly with dignity beyond the clouds.
