PATRIOTIC FRONT MOURNS PASTOR MATTHEW NGOSA
PF SG Hon. Raphael Mangani Nakacinda has written a touching tribute to late Zambian gospel singer / songwriter Pastor Matthew Ngosa who went to be with the Lord yesterday.
Pastor Ngosa also served as PF Councillor for madido ward in Chongwe from 2011 to 2016.
His amazing songs touched the heart of many and led people to christ .
SG Nakacinda wrote :
Mathew NGOSA, you have left the country speechless with your untimely death. Indeed a dark cloud is over Zambia.
Those of us who knew you, know that you are surely with the Lord. We have lost but the Lord our God has gained.
Fellow country men and women, the Christian fraternity, I met Mathew Ngosa years back in the church before we rubbed shoulders politically. He was a down to earth humble soul despite being celebrated as an international Gospel artist. He was ever so respectful whether you met him at international events abroad or even at local church. He ministered in his songs with great humility because for him winning souls to christ it never mattered at what stage, he gave his all.
Because of his love and passion to serve the people , he stepped up to become a local Councillor on Patiotic Front for Madido ward, a role he played with great vigor. His mark in the ward in terms of infrastructure development speaks for itself.
We shared very serious conversations about leadership both in the church and nation at large, his ideas where always leaning towards God fearing leadership and how as nation we have veered off the face of God.
I have lots of things to say about this son of the soil, Alola as he would always say when you meet him as greeting.
Indeed, he has sang his song while entering the gates into heavenly abyss. He is indeed a heavenly soul. He is indeed a shinning example of an exemplary life of Christian fortitudes. Thanks for sharing your love, gifts and life with the nation you loved so much. You gave us all you had, like an open book or a mirror so clear for everyone to see.
You turned the country upside down with your musicals that will remain our only tangible memory to remember you as you rest in peace.
Lord give us strength to hols ourselves in mourning your son whom you have decided to get at a time when we least expected. At a time when we have not had enough of him.
To the church fraternity take heart, let his passing be a reminder to lead an exemplary life and impact one another with love and humility.
The Patriotic Front family, this is entirely our loss, let us mourn our brother with dignity and let us embrace everyone because no one can say we used to own Mathew Ngosa. He is to be mourned freely by everyone irrespective of their church or political party.
To the family, may our dear lord confort the wife and children because only he can do it. Feel free to call on us at any time as we prepare to put him to rest.
