PEOPLE CAN’T EAT PRESS BRIEFINGS
UPND has failed to heal poverty in the country but is concentrating on holding boring press briefings.

THE United Party for National Development (UPND) government must focus its energy on reducing poverty because Zambians cannot eat endless press briefings, Dr Lawrence Mwelwa has said.
Dr Lawrence Mwelwa challenged President Hakainde Hichilema and the United Party for National Development UPND) to discard their belief that Zambians were fascinated with press briefings.

Sir or Doctor whatever you are, please try to think before you post a comment. You can as well do better if you just keep quiet if you have nothing to say. First and foremost, press briefings are an informative tool meant to update the people a on important matters, they are never meant for food or eating. There is nowhere in the world where people eat press briefings. Last season was good and as a country we had bumper harvest, so which hunger are you still talking about? Only lazy ones and pompous ones who don’t want to touch the soil will continue complaining and will continue being hungry. UPND is not there to produce food for people, they have to produce it themselves and for themselves.
It’s beggars belief, there are people who cannot think outside the box!!!
Indeed you can only remain in government by Chabingalising the opposition and UPNDilising state institutions including ECZ and judiciary!!!
Is this the husband to the spitting Cobra…
A good leader communicates effectively in good times and especially in bad times.
This is how Mr. Winston Churchill, the war time prime minister of Britain, managed to keep the morale of the British people up under constant bombing by the Germany Third Reich. Only a foolish leader ceases to communicate because the going is rough.
So ba Dr. Lawrence Mwelwa, would you stop talking to your family because you have failed to put food on the table? That is when you actually need to talk to them more to keep their spirits up until things turn for the better.
But they can eat your mouth?
