PF ALIGNED SURROGATES, PRAISE SINGERS AND FINISHED OFFICIALS MUST RESPECT THE RULE OF LAW.

“They Must Know, Upnd Teyapamaka, UPND IS For Intellectuals”

The recent statement by the Patriotic Front – PF Youth Wing in Central Province is a clear misrepresentation of the facts on the ground. It’s worth noting that, under the able leadership of President Hakainde Hichilema , the rule of law is indeed taking its course, and no one is above the law.

The arrest of Honourable Raphael Nakachinda and other PF members is not a case of political persecution as being perceived or purported by the PF people, but rather a consequence of vivid and clear wrongdoing by themselves. If the case is bondable, as being claimed, then the due process will unfold accordingly without any manipulation. It’s crucial to respect the independence of the judiciary and law enforcement agencies.

The finished PF Youth Wing’s accusations of unnecessary arrests and persecution of political opponents to the UPND government are unfounded and divisive and calls for all well meaning citizens to rubbish them without a second thought. President Hakainde Hichilema’s administration has demonstrated a commitment to upholding human rights and the rule of law. Under his leadership, it’s no longer the rule of men as it used to be under the brutal regime of former president Edgar Chagwa Lungu

Instead of making inflammatory statements, the finished PF Youth Wing in question should encourage their leaders to cooperate with the law enforcement agencies and allow justice to take its course. They must not also forget that tables have turned and we in the UPND are calling the shorts. Therefore, it’s very imperative for them to take note of that.

Citizens are also encouraged to take note of the following Key Points:

  • Respect for the Rule of Law: The government’s actions are guided by the law, and no one is above the law. Imagine a country where the rule of law is not followed. What would it be like?
  • Independence of Judiciary and Law Enforcement Agencies: These institutions should be allowed to operate independently, without interference or intimidation. Imagine a country where these agencies are manipulated and told what to do. What type of country will Zambia become?
  • Due Process_: If Honourable Nakachinda’s case and others is bondable, they will be released accordingly.

For now, let’s allow the law to take its course.
