JUST IN: POLICE OFFICER FOUND DEAD AFTER HUSBAND’S SHOCKING CONFESSION
A shocking incident has been reported in Kenya after a man identified as Patrick Chege allegedly walked into Kinoo Police Station and claimed that he had killed his wife following a domestic disagreement.
Police reportedly followed the information he provided and later discovered the body of a woman inside a sack in a thicket in Kagira, Kabete.
The victim was identified as Gladys Nyaguthii Kirika, a police officer attached to Subuiga Police Station in Buuri West, Meru County.
Investigators reportedly recovered items believed to be connected to the incident as they began investigating the circumstances surrounding her death.
Chege later left the police station and was reportedly found injured after an incident in Kangemi. He was taken to hospital, where he remains under police guard.
Detectives are expected to establish what happened between the two and determine the full circumstances surrounding Kirika’s death.
The incident has once again raised concerns about domestic conflicts and the devastating consequences they can have.
