PROPHET ISRAEL FORD ROCKED BY ABUSE CLAIMS AFTER SECOND-WIFE REVELATION
US preacher faces fresh scrutiny after stepdaughter Kourtney Jones alleges sexual abuse — claims he and wife Lydia firmly deny.
US preacher Prophet Israel Ford has been plunged into controversy after his headline-grabbing revelation that he had taken a second wife was followed by serious abuse allegations involving his stepdaughters.
Ford and his wife, Pastor Lydia Ford, sparked widespread debate after revealing that his new wife was previously his “spiritual daughter”.
But the controversy has since escalated, with court documents reportedly referencing allegations of physical abuse involving Lydia’s daughter, identified as K.C.
Another of Lydia’s daughters, Kourtney Jones, has also taken to social media with allegations that Ford groomed and sexually abused her when she was young.
Jones has reportedly spoken about her sister’s alleged experiences and the couple’s second-wife arrangement, further intensifying scrutiny of the family.
FORD COUPLE DENY ALLEGATIONS
In an interview with The Shade Room’s China Lovelace, Israel and Lydia Ford rejected Jones’ allegations, insisting they were untrue.
“We are aware of Kourtney Jones’ public allegations and recognize the serious damage they can have. From our perspective, these are the same allegations she’s made for many years that have been alluded to in her online posts over several years. It’s not true,” the couple said.
Their denial comes as the preacher’s controversial marriage arrangement and the allegations involving his stepdaughters draw renewed public attention.
The claims remain allegations, and the couple’s denial should be considered alongside Jones’ account. The existence of court documents referencing allegations does not, by itself, establish that abuse occurred.
