It is with immense pride and joy that I extend my heartfelt congratulations to our esteemed Citizens First party president, Dr. Harry Kalaba, on his recent reelection. This victory is not just a testament to his unwavering dedication and visionary leadership but also a clear reflection of the confidence the people of Zambia have in his ability to steer our nation towards a brighter future.
Dr. Kalaba’s re-election comes at a critical juncture in our country’s history looking at what he has endured from the previous regime, the Democratic Party (DP) and what is enduring in the mighty Citizens First. As we navigate through the challenges posed by the current United Party for National Development UPND administration, it has become increasingly evident that the people of Zambia are disillusioned with the leadership of Dr. Hakainde Hichilema. The promises made during his campaign have not materialized, leaving many citizens feeling abandoned and frustrated. The current Republican President has, regrettably, failed to deliver on the aspirations of our people, and it is our collective responsibility to ensure that we chart a new course for our nation.
In contrast, Dr. Kalaba embodies the hope and resilience that our country so desperately needs. His vision for a prosperous Zambia resonates with the aspirations of our citizens, and his commitment to transparency, accountability, and inclusive governance is a beacon of hope for all. The mandate ahead of him is not just a personal journey; it is a collective mission to restore faith in our political system and to uplift the lives of every Zambian.
I would also like to take this opportunity to commend our party membership nation over for the powerful intraparty democracy that has been exercised throughout this party electoral process. Your unwavering support and belief in Dr. Kalaba’s vision have been instrumental in this victory. It is a testament to the strength and unity of the Citizens First Party, and it showcases our commitment to democratic principles and the empowerment of our members.
