Russia: Military Transport Plane Crash in Crimea Kills 29
Russia’s Ministry of Defense confirmed that an Antonov An-26 military transport aircraft crashed during an operation over the Crimean Peninsula early Wednesday.
All 29 personnel on board, including crew members and military passengers, were killed, with no survivors reported.
Officials stated the aircraft suffered a critical mechanical failure, lost control, and crashed in a remote area. Authorities stressed the incident was not related to combat or any external attack.
