Russian Drone Strike Hits Dnipro Railway Station, Killing at Least 14

A Russian drone strike hit a railway platform in the Ukrainian city of Dnipro on October 29, killing at least 14 people and injuring others, according to the latest reports from Ukrainian authorities and international media.

The attack struck a platform where a suburban electric train and a passenger train were standing, including a service preparing to depart for Zaporizhzhia. Emergency crews rushed to the scene as rescuers treated the wounded.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy condemned the strike and expressed condolences to the victims’ families. He called on the United States, European countries and the G7 to take stronger action against Moscow, arguing that sanctions on Russia should not be eased while the war continues.

The attack comes amid an intensifying campaign against Ukraine’s railway infrastructure, which plays a critical role in civilian transport and the movement of essential supplies.

Casualty figures remain subject to updates as emergency services continue responding to the aftermath
