Saudi F-15s Strike Houthi Targets With GBU-28 Bombs as Houthis Retaliate
Saudi Arabia has launched another wave of airstrikes against Houthi targets in Yemen, with Saudi F-15 fighter jets reportedly carrying out strikes using GBU-28 bunker-buster bombs against hardened military positions.
The latest Saudi strikes came after the Houthis intensified their military campaign and expanded attacks across the region. The group has responded by launching ballistic missiles and drones toward Saudi military targets, including installations in the southern part of the kingdom.
The Houthis said their missile and drone attacks were carried out in retaliation for Saudi airstrikes on Yemen, while Saudi forces continue operations aimed at degrading Houthi missile, drone and military infrastructure.
The renewed exchange marks a major escalation along the Saudi-Yemeni front, adding another layer to the wider regional conflict and increasing pressure around the Red Sea and Bab el-Mandeb corridor.
