SDA Church Urges Participation in Constitution Review

By Masauso Mkwayaya

The Seventh-day Adventist -SDA- Church in Zambia has called on its members nationwide to actively participate in the ongoing constitutional review process.

In a statement to ZNBC News, the Church has acknowledged the public interest in the consultative process.

The Church says members have both the right and responsibility to make informed and constructive contributions to shaping the Constitution of the Republic of Zambia.

The Church explains that the process aims to strengthen constitutional democracy, enhance citizen participation, and ensure that the supreme law of the land reflects the aspirations of Zambians.

This is contained in a joint statement by President of the Southern Zambia Union Conference Dr. VANNY MUNYUMBWE, and President of the Northern Zambia Union Conference Dr. TOMMY NAMITONDO.
