SEAN TEMBO ENDORSES LUNGU
Sean Tembo says his first choice for the opposition alliance UKA is PF president Edgar Lungu.
Lungu is also sixth Zambian President. He ruled Zambia for seven years beat Hakainde Hichilema twice, in a by-election in 2015 and a year later in a general election in 2016.
But in 2021, Hichilema beat Lungu with about a million votes. This was Hichilema’s sixth attempt at the presidency having failed five times since his ascendance to the UPND presidency following the death of founding president Anderson Mazoka.
Tembo says the primary goal for the opposition is to win the election and get Hichilema. It looks this is the view of many of these opposition parties who have come together under UKA.
Tembo who heads a political party called PeP says Hichilema will lock all of them if he wins in 2026.
“Apa our primary objective is to win, and therefore we need to float a candidate that has the greatest probability of winning us the election, otherwise if we fail to win, Bally will have all of us locked up on flimsy charges soon after. Mambala is not playing. Anyway, the Future is SET ✌🏼✌🏼✌🏼,” wrote Tembo in a Facebook post today.
Insiders within UKA apart from Saboi who leads part of a small party called NDC the rest have no issue with having Lungu to led.
The challenge could be on who runs with him.

Sean Tembo, this is the Guy who failed to control his cadres, and he claimed that he was not ashamed of his cadres, a conviction which he has not reversed, those cadres are waiting for him to come back so that they also come back with a vengeance which will tear Zambia apart, do you think Zambians are dump enough to accept that situation again, as Zambians we will not seat back and allow those cadres to mistreat us again, it will be tit for tat and that is why we can no allow adada back.
This is what happens when you give a mad man a platform. All his suits in court have lacked a rational basis. And we can expect rationality in choice from a mad man? Zero Tembo plus cadre Lungu what do you expect? Lungu cant account for his wealth and is affair of jail. That is the only reason for wanting to come back to power.
Tembo says HH will lock up all the opposition leaders on flimsy grounds should he win. Like ECL will come back with his shameless tribalism and thuggery of his cadres. Between the two HH is a better option.

He must be a turn court is he not the one who despised ECL a few weeks ago.Mr Tembo said ECL doesn’t have the leadership qualities.And he can’t support him but today things have changed.Probably it comes as an opportunity cost for fear of the unknown offences he could have committed.The guilty are always afraid.And Iam yet to find out if Mr Tembo is a member of UKA.
Sean Zero knows he has zero chance of being a candidate so what does he do? Picks someone whom he knows can at least give him a ka samsing instead of picking from the rest who are just broke.
