SERIOUS CONCERNS ARE GROWING AT BAYERN MUNICH OVER VINCENT KOMPANY’S HEALTH AND EXTREME WORKLOAD
According to reports, people within Bayern Munich have been worried about the Belgian manager’s work-life balance for several weeks, with concerns that he is pushing himself far beyond his physical limits.
Players and coaching staff have reportedly raised concerns about several aspects of his daily routine:
😴 Not getting enough sleep.
☕ Drinking excessive amounts of coffee.
🍔 Eating irregularly and excessively.
🏃 Rarely finding time to exercise himself.
💻 Working late into the night analysing matches and preparing training sessions.
The situation reportedly became more concerning after Kompany suffered a viral infection that also affected his ability to stand for extended periods.
During Bayern’s 6-1 victory over Leipzig, he reportedly struggled physically and needed to lie down in his office immediately after the match.
Despite undergoing medical examinations and taking time away from the club, Kompany was reportedly back at work shortly afterwards, overseeing training, team meetings, tactical preparations and media duties.
And here’s the worrying part…
Kompany is said to involve himself in almost EVERY aspect of Bayern’s operations, from training facilities and transfers to tactical planning and daily preparations.
His commitment to the club is unquestionable, but some within Bayern reportedly fear that his relentless approach is becoming unsustainable.
These concerns remain reported claims, and there has been no confirmed medical explanation linking his illness to his working habits.
Football managers are under enormous pressure to deliver results, but surely their health has to come first.
Should Bayern Munich step in and FORCE Kompany to take a proper break, even if he wants to keep working?
