STAY IN YOUR LANE SIMON, UNZA IS BIGGER THAN YOU

Hello Mr. Chitambala,

Ordinarily I wouldn’t and probably shouldn’t have responded to your misguided utterances about the highest, biggest, finest institution of higher learning within the geography of Zambia. I however feel duty bound to defend the place that made me who I am today, for it is within our veins to defend our school with the last drop of sweat and blood.

First things first, UNZA sir, is not a college as you wrongly said. UNZA is the mother of all Universities in Zambia and can not be compared to a theology college you attended in the states. I feel calling UNZA a college after KK and friends worked tirelessly to set up a super University of UNZA’s magnitude is not only an insult to those who passed through it but to KK himself. Imagine how he would feel if he heard that the University he worked tirelessly to set up has been reduced into a college by a vlogger in City Market? Respect Sir!

Secondly, I feel Mr. Chitambala you are so distant with realities, cultures and traditions of UNZA. I take exception that your father, typical of African politicians decided to take you to America for school. What an opportunity you missed! Things have happened like this since the beginning of times at our great school. Students have mourned like that, be it one of their own or super leaders like KK and trust me not a single one of them is doing a mockery, they are serious and mean business.

Lastly, I am inviting you Mr. Mwewa to apply for admission in one of the programs for adults like you. Lets say just a simple program like adult education or Peace and Conflict Management. Trust me you will enjoy every iota of time you will spend at Zambia’s premier Vasity. There is still time sir, your friends like Mike Mulongoti RIP did it at an old age and had some fun.

Alternatively, if you cant manage to enroll yourself, please send one of your children to have his education from there. Your friend Tayali has a child there and understands when we mourn like this. We celebrate lives at UNZA.

I send you warm regards!
I remain, Hamatan.
