TAYALI WAS PRESENT AT TOTALING CENTRE AND RAISED NO COMPLAINT – SAYS ECZ

The Electoral Commission of Zambia (ECZ), through Ndola Central Returning Officer Fredrick Musonda, has told the Ndola High Court that losing parliamentary candidate Frank Tayali was present at the Kansenshi Secondary School totaling centre, where he confirmed the records of proceedings and votes without raising any complaint.
The testimony directly challenged Tayali’s claim that he was absent throughout the period when votes were being tallied.
This testimony places fresh focus on the inconsistencies between Tayali’s account and the evidence being presented before the court in his election petition against Emmanuel Mulenga.
