Temwa Chawinga Breaks Barbra Banda’s Ballon d’Or Record
Malawi’s Temwa Chawinga has been named among the Top 10 finalists for the Ballon d’Or Féminin.
This means Chawinga has surpassed Barbra Banda’s record as the highest-ranked African woman in the history of the award, guaranteeing a Top 10 finish.
Banda set the previous record in 2024 when she finished 12th.
