Today we inaugurated, in Inhassoro, the first Integrated Hydrocarbon Processing Infrastructure, a historic landmark that puts Mozambique on the path of local transformation, industrialization and energy sovereignty.
This project, which includes the Liquefied Petroleum Gas Production Unit, Temane Thermal Plant and new industrial capabilities, means more jobs, more energy for families, more competitiveness for the economy, and more dignity for our people. We are transforming gas into industry, into income and real opportunities for Mozambicans.
The presence of my counterpart and brother President Cyril Ramaphosa demonstrates the strength of the partnership between Mozambique and South Africa. We grow together, move forward together and build a stronger region.
This is a decisive step towards economic independence.
