There isn’t enough time for ECZ to conduct delimitation – Chisanga

By: News Diggers

LUKASHYA PF MP George Chisanga says there isn’t enough time for the Electoral Commission of Zambia (ECZ) to conduct delimitation.

Chisanga claimed that any agenda that has to be done within two months is a pretext of how the UPND want to rig the elections.

On Monday, ECZ announced that it was in the final stages of preparations to begin the delimitation process.

But commenting on that in an interview, Tuesday, Chisanga said the delimitation exercise should have taken over six months.

“This thing is now in a state of confusion, what we had said was going to be a complication is what has arisen as a complication

  1. This is an on going issue, its been on books of ecz for years now its just mere name the new constituencies. Rigging against who, yourself individually you have not even start preparing in your on area due to uncertainty of your pf and now you hallucinate of rigging, its you yourselves that have sold your on victory to upnd.

  2. The Electoral Commission of Zambia said they will carry out Country wide Consultations! It’s not possible in 2 months.. New Constituencies boundaries will require Geographical divisions and will involve Districts, Chiefdoms, etc. This is not a hurried task.
But it’s not so for Mingalatoons.
They already have the Constituencies made in the Mingalatoon’s Bedroom.. That was the essence of the Illegitimate and unconstitutional Bill 7.
Consultations will be like the Mushabati Technical Committee…Just some noise, photos at some Provincial Centers, really just public n@saince and when the Report is made, it’s thrown away.
They already know the Constituencies to be added..
And the Rebel 35 PF Members of Parliament Who birthed the illegitimate and unconstitutional Bill 7 law will kiss dust. Used and dumped.

  3. Why is it not feasible to accomplish this? We still have six months remaining before the elections. Let us proceed without delay. We anticipate the establishment of new constituencies by March.
