Chama-South member of parliament (PF) Davison Mung’andu says it’s a definite yes he will re-contest his seat on the UPND ticket in 2026 if they ask him to.
And Mung’andu said those saying former president Edgar Lungu will return to office again are hallucinating.

You have got it wrong Moses ! Edgar is completely finished. Don’t be deceived by street mob politics. People easily get excited on the streets but think carefully when casting votes. HH has has already done sufficient campaign by numerousachievements within half a term. Lungu damaged the economy and no one would like a reversal of all these achievements.

Apart from having a grade 12 certificate minimum academic qualification,an IQ >100 should be a requirement for people to be on the ballot for Parliament. Davison obviously slipped through the net.
