BREAKING: Tiger Woods Told Police He Was on the Phone With Trump During His DUI Arrest

Newly released body camera footage from Tiger Woods’ 2017 DUI arrest has resurfaced with a detail that is raising eyebrows all over again.

According to the footage, Woods told officers at the scene that he had been speaking with Donald Trump around the time of the incident.

Woods was found asleep at the wheel of his Mercedes in the early morning hours in Jupiter, Florida. He failed field sobriety tests and later told investigators that a combination of prescription medications was responsible for his impaired condition.

He was not drinking alcohol, according to toxicology results, but was found to have multiple drugs in his system including Vicodin, Dilaudid, Xanax, Ambien, and THC.

The claim that he had been in contact with Trump was captured on police body cam and is now drawing fresh attention as the footage circulates online. Trump and Woods have had a long and well-documented friendship, with Trump frequently citing Woods as one of his closest celebrity allies and golfing companions.

Woods eventually pleaded guilty to reckless driving and completed a diversion program.

But the newly surfaced detail about the Trump phone call is adding a strange new footnote to an already bizarre chapter in the golf legend’s life.
