Honourable Munir Zulu said that genuine socio-political transformation is rarely initiated by the political elite.
According to Zulu, such change is more often propelled by influential grassroots figures like Honourable Emmanuel Jay Banda, whose ability to mobilize large online gatherings – even in his physical absence – is unprecedented.
Zulu warns that unless the state initiates meaningful dialogue through negotiators whom Honourable Emmanuel Jay Banda genuinely trusts, the potential consequences could be severe.
Drawing on historical precedent, Zulu notes that exiled leaders have been known to topple regimes, a threat now magnified exponentially by the reach and speed of modern digital platforms.
He stresses that the state still has a window of opportunity to pursue reconciliation, but this moment is quickly slipping away.
Zulu observes that, at present, Honourable Emmanuel Jay Banda has little to lose and yet holds the undeniable political momentum.
He said that whether one loves or hates Honourable Emmanuel Jay Banda – he remains the dominant topic of conversation, not only across borders and social media platforms but even in everyday discussions, including at funerals.

only in Zambia do we have time to pay attention to such. The Zambian gullibility is Guinness Book of World Records stuff. By the way are the titles Honourable and Ambassodor “Lifetime”, kufwa nayo?
ABSOLUTELY RUBBISH!!
From time you came out of prison, you say correct things. On this one, you are showing your old self. Since when did thuggish behaviour equated to good behaviour, enough for citizens, normal citizens, to rally behind and even topple the govt? A fugitive, always threatening the elected president’s life, unrepentant offender who is urinated into a person and beat up police in their backyard, a witch practitioner and who fakes abduction, a prophet of doom, surely, the 3m can’t allow that. His popularity is among the 1.8 always hunting for quick money…when he says share this…they all run towards it. Very soon he will say gather on a grave and they will go.
The bulk of us, no Sir, we are normal Christians and nothing of that sort can ever happen here
