Resignation of Socialist Party Elections Chairman Sparks Political Conversations
Trymore Mwenda has announced his resignation from his role as Elections Chairman of the Socialist Party, effective immediately. The announcement was made through a formal letter addressed to President Fred M’membe and the leadership of the party.

Things fall apart. While Dr. M’membe is busy writing about HH this and HH that and imperialists and capitalists, his house has developed cracks and is crumbling.
Within the space of one month, we have seen so many resignations and a couple of firings. All is not well in the SP party.
These resignations enmass are what should concern M’membe and his party, and not the rantings about HH on a daily basis. No one reads anymore!
Uku ndiye kusila kwa Chipani, by 2026, M’membe will remain alone writing and talking about HH, it’s like that is the sole purpose for him. Even the name for the party will change to NNP Nashala Neka Party. Running an opposition party is not easy, let him swallow his pride and join UKA.
Everyone knows the reasons for this resignations. Dr mwelwa and frank bwalya already told us it’s a family party specific to Fred mmembe and family.
The centre of the Socialist Party cannot hold so things are falling apart. The falcon can no longer trust the falconer. By 2026 the SP will be a very weak shell. Let Membe swallow his pride and join UKA; the alliance of political parties headed mostly by people who hail from the Tanganyika corridor.
