Uhuru endorses Raila
Kenyan President Uhuru Kenyatta has officially endorsed opposition leader Raila Odinga for the presidency. Addressing delegates from the country’s central region, Kenyatta urged his community to support Raila’s campaign, arguing that he represents the country’s best interests.
In an apparent reference to Deputy President William Ruto, the Kenyatta stated that if he reforms, he will back him in the future. It’s the first time Kenyatta has openly backed Odinga as his successor.
