UPND can’t win without state machinery … results show Socialist Party is fastest growing opposition party- Hapunda

The Socialist Party says UPND cannot win elections without using the state machinery.
And Hapunda said the Socialist Party was the fastest growing opposition party going by the results which have been coming from the by-elections.
And the opposition party says contrary to President Hakainde Hichilema’s sentiments that the recently held by-elections were peaceful, the elections were marred by intimidation of voters and vote buying by the UPND.
On Saturday, President Hichilema through State House Chief Communications Specialist Clayson Hamasaka issued a statement commending all the political parties for conducting peaceful elections in Kabelenge ward in Mwansabombwe and Zimba in Southern Province.
President Hichilema further commended the rulling UPND for winning the elections.

Hichilema should know that what they are doing is waste of resources because most voters are very frustrated by their maladministration, tribalism and selfishness. Winning by 400 votes out of over 5000 registered voters is a waste of resources and money! Voters are shunning voting because there’s nothing that is pleasing them. It’s just suffering through and through. So there’s nothing that Hichilema should be proud of winning!
