UPND IS CORRUPT TO THE CORE
….they even give a contract to a company that is a few days old

Former Transport and Communications Minister Hon Mutotwe Kamfwaya says the ruling UPND government is corrupt to the core as the figures from the Financial Intelligence Commission (FIC) report indicates.
The PF Lunte Constituency Member of Parliament has charged that without shame, they even go to extrems to award a contract to a company that is only a few days in existence.
Hon Kamfwaya says records are there for all to see.
He said this when he featured on KNC Radio in Kabwe today.
“They (UPND) dented the name of the PF over the K2 billion as reported in the FIC report. This is what caused the PF to loose elections, K2 billion and not US dollars. But if we get the K61 billion which is in the FIC Report under the UPND government, and the US$2.6 billion which is K68 billion within three years of UPND and you want to compare it to the K2 billion, won’t the people of Zambia laugh at you,” he questioned.
And Hon Kamfwaya said the current economic hardships in the country are as a result of the carelessness of the UPND goverment.
He indicated that the PF government left about 1.5 million metric tonnes of maize in the country’s reserves which he said the UPND sold with impunity.
“The PF left 1.5 million metric tonnes of maize in reserves and the UPND sold that maize. We wouldn’t be suffering today. The hunger that is in the country is not as a result of drought but carelessness of the UPND,” he added.
“If they didn’t sale the maize, mealie meal would not have skyrocketed to these levels.”

Assumption it won’t make you to win election
Very true coz the message is always anchored on the known issues, sale of maize, loadsheding and fuel. These variables alone would not have guaranteed cheaper mealie meal and general low cost of living. The economy itself was in ICU then and even with all things being equal challenges would still have been there. Look at the plunder, terror, huge amounts of money in wrong hands, massive infrastructure, especially roads which did not match with the country’s capacity, huge borrowing, nepotism and tribalism. To me thinking of PF is really sickening. These were destroyers and nowonder they can’t rebrand and has costed other parties they are trying to align themselves with. Look at the happenings in UKA, a well intended alliance which the moment pf joined they have lost direction and now crumbling like ice block due increased temperature. Yes, the Kafwaya’s can praise sing about pf, but truth be told, they are going nowhere, and really nowhere.
