UPND THE RIGHT PARTY WITH A VISION TO SERVE THE PEOPLE OF ZAMBIA
The Republican Vice President Mrs Mutale Nalumango has called on the people of Kaumbwe constituency in Petauke district of Eastern Province to vote for UPND candidate Esnart Sakala in the forthcoming by-elections.
Mrs Nalumango says a vote for Esnart Sakala is a vote for development as she will be a conduit for implementation of government plans in Kaumbwe constituency.
Speaking during a campaign trail to drummed up support for the UPND candidate in Kaumbwe constituency, Mrs Nalumango revealed that the UPND government is in a hurry to bring development closer to the people through decentralization.
The Republican Vice President says government’s release of constituency development fund CDF in full for all constituencies including Kaumbwe constituency is the demonstration of the New Dawn’s commitment to the people.
“Vote for UPND that is the government in power, when the the PF come to tell you lies that they will do this or that, ask them why didn’t you do it when you were in power?”
She explains that in UPND government under President Hakainde Hichilema money will be taken to the people to plan and implement projects according to their priorities.
The Vice President says the New Dawn government is doing everything possible to facilitate efficient fertilizer distribution on time.
She revealed that PF’s pronouncement that fertilizer will be in the country before the month of May, was not true as the country has not received the fertilizer todate.
“During the campaigns before the elections of August 12 PF told you that they have brought fertilizer for FISP. They said fertilizer will be delivered before elections but what we found was chaos, there was nothing at all.
The fertilizer that was suppose to be in the country in the month of May according to the PF is not here up to now.
We are working day and night to see that fertilizer is distributed on time.
let them challenge me and show me where the fertilizer is.” charged Mrs Nalumango.
“We are already on course to ensure that fertilizer is dispatched on time, as the Minister of Agriculture will be launching the distribution on Monday that everyone receive the inputs.”
The Republican Vice President says government will ensure the distribution of fertilizer is done on time and in a well coordinated manner.
