US offers up to $15 million for information on IRGC financial network
The US State Department’s Rewards for Justice program is offering up to $15 million for information that helps disrupt the Revolutionary Guards’ financial mechanisms, including cryptocurrency accounts, custodians and front companies.
In a post on X Thursday, Rewards for Justice said the Guards use digital asset exchanges to launder money, finance activities abroad and maintain access to international financial systems, urging people with information to send tips.
The program says it is seeking information on revenue sources, front companies, financial institutions, exchange houses and other mechanisms used by the Guards and its Quds Force to move money and evade sanctions.
