ANNOUNCEMENT TO THE NATION ON THE PASSING OF HIS EXCELLENCY DR. EDGAR CHAGWA LUNGU

Fellow Zambians,It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of His Excellency Dr. Edgar Chagwa Lungu, Sixth President of the Republic of Zambia, who departed this morning at 06:hours at Medforum Clinic, a Medical Centre in South Africa.
My father, President Lungu had been under medical supervision in recent weeks.
His condition was managed with dignity and privacy, with support from wellwishers.In this moment of grief, we invoke the spirit of “One Zambia, One Nation” – the timeless creed that guided President Lungu’s service to our country.
In time, the nation will be informed of other arrangements.
Sad news. May the Soul of the President Rest In Eternal Peace. But this is the reason Zambian politics are questionable. Not too long ago there were political statements posted from “him” and even wished his wife a deserving Happy Birthday, calling her babes. Was he fine during this time? If not who was posting those messages and what was the purpose.
Chagwa was never a Dr, in fact he should be called Dr Corruption
There is nothing honourable about Tasila “corrupt” Lungu
I received the death of the 6th President Mr Edgar Chagwa Lungu with disbelief and shock.I would like to join the rest in sending my message of condolences to his family and the whole country on the un timely death of our former President.I further ask for the country to mourn our deceased President with dignity and in a peaceful way.May God give the family strength in this sorrowful moment.
