WE’VE REJECTED THEIR PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE, VEEP FROM NORTHERN, EASTERN PROVINCE – CF
HARRY Kalaba’s Citizens First says the hostility Muhabi Lungu and the other opposition political parties he is working with have against CF is because CF has rejected the ‘locked’ arrangement where the opposition want a presidential candidate who hails from Northern Province and a running mate from Eastern Province.
Reacting to Zambia We Want spokesperson Muhabi Lungu’s assertion to Daily Revelation last week that Kalaba could not call himself a giant politically just because he was a minister, but got only 0.5% of the votes in the 2021 general elections and was getting 3 votes in the recent by-elections across the country.

So Harry Kalaba, don’t join this game of labelling your own, Tribalists, and yet your own vote for any one..Let the Experts with Tribal lenses, who always vote for their own, see Tribalism in others…and not in themselves.
I have read the story. Harry Kalaba has merely rejected the idea that the opposition presidential candidate and their running mate have to originate from Northen and Eastern provinces. Muhabi Lungu sees no problem with such a condition. There’s nowhere Kalaba has labelled anyone a tribalist in this story. That is your own creation.
This obsession with tribe/region is a clear indication that some so called opposition parties and presidents cannot stand on their own. They need to appeal to tribal/regional sentiments for them to get some traction.
As the saying goes, “tribalism is the last refugee of the scoundrel”. PF lifted tribalism/regionalism to dizzying heights. The divisions wrought by PF continue to haunt our nation and will take a whole generation to eradicate, that is if we diligently apply ourselves to correcting it.
Those who walk in PF’s path will never know peace.
It is people who feel insecure that take refuge in tribalism/regionalism. Organisations like Uumodzi Kumawa do not help either.
That is the reason why it will always be impossible for these opposition political parties to win an election, all what they think is Zambia is for only northerners and easterners, as long as they do not change from this primitive way of thinking then it will always be difficult for them to win an election,Zambia is for all the ten provinces not terrorists from the two regions NO.
