1. The zambian govt will never buy all the maize.
2. The govt removed the export ban to push for regional exports. We advocated for all bans to be removed on wheat, maize, soy beans can be exported.
3. The storage capacity for the govt is limited to a calculated amount that supports food security. To make sure that our people dont go hungry.
As our population increases the storage capacity will match the population without putting pressure on the govt budget to build storage that is not needed.
