ZAMBIANS GATHER AT HEROES STADIUM FOR JJ BANDA’S ONLINE MEETING.
Zambians in Lusaka have gathered at Heroes Stadium following an invitation by former Petauke Central Member of Parliament Emmanuel “Jay Jay” Banda to participate in an online meeting.
Banda had embarked on an online mobilisation campaign under which he claims to be sharing US$6 million from sources that have not been publicly disclosed.
However, police have reportedly dispersed the growing crowd that had gathered at the stadium.
As part of the mobilisation campaign, Banda has been encouraging people across the country to form groups of 100, purchase meals from Hungry Lion, and send pictures to him as evidence of their participation.
The campaign has attracted attention on social media, with questions emerging over the source of the money being distributed and the purpose of the unusual mobilisation exercise.

These are lazy PF bums. They don’t want to work for their money. You come all the way from the village just to come and stand.I have great respect for people I see waiting for a chance for piece work at Labor offices and others looking for piece work in neighbourhoods. Not these idiots
The headline is wrong, please say Jay Jay followers or ba 1.8 have gathered at the stadium. Don’t write Zambians…..we didn’t all go there!
