BREAKING: Ro Khanna DEMANDS Trump’s removal under the 25th Amendment after threatening to destroy “a whole civilization” — and even his most die-hard MAGA supporters are now saying enough is enough.
Something that has never happened before is unfolding in American politics right now. A California progressive and Marjorie Taylor Greene are sounding the same alarm. Ro Khanna and former Trump loyalists are landing on the same conclusion. People who have never agreed on anything are suddenly speaking with one voice.
Trump has managed to do the impossible — unite the left and the right in calling for him to be removed from power.
It began when Trump took to Truth Social and warned he would obliterate “a whole civilization” unless Iran reopened the Strait of Hormuz by 8 p.m. that same night. “A whole civilization will die tonight, never to be brought back again,” he wrote. “I don’t want that to happen, but it probably will.”
The President of the United States. On a social media app. Before lunch.
Ro Khanna didn’t flinch: “If the United States Congress has any life left in it, every member of Congress and senator must be calling for Trump’s removal today based on the 25th Amendment. He’s threatening the entire destruction of a civilization. This is a moral crime. It is a war crime. We need to be demanding that Congress convene today, and we need to be invoking the 25th Amendment.”
A Democrat calling for Trump’s removal is not the headline here. The headline is who joined him.
“25TH AMENDMENT!!!” posted Marjorie Taylor Greene — the congresswoman who spent years defending Trump at every turn, through every controversy, no matter the cost. “Not a single bomb has dropped on America. We cannot kill an entire civilization. This is evil and madness.”
Candace Owens, who built her entire brand around defending Trump, posted: “The 25th Amendment needs to be invoked. Our Congress and military need to intervene. We are beyond madness.”
Anthony Scaramucci, who served in Trump’s own White House, went directly after Senate Majority Leader John Thune: “Are you not going to seek the removal of this crazy person? This is your responsibility. Wake up — seek his removal immediately.”
Here is what Trump actually threatened. The Strait of Hormuz is one of the most vital shipping corridors on the planet. Iran has been using its control there as a negotiating chip to end a war Trump launched without a single vote from Congress. Trump’s answer to that negotiation was not diplomacy. It was not strategy. It was a public ultimatum threatening the complete destruction of an entire nation’s people — posted online with a deadline attached like a parking ticket.
That is a genocide threat. Full stop. It violates international law. It violates the Geneva Conventions. It violates the oath of office Trump took with his hand on a Bible.
And Congress has said almost nothing.
Ro Khanna is asking the right question — not just about Trump, but about every senator and representative who has watched this unfold and chosen silence. The 25th Amendment was written for moments when the person holding the most powerful office on earth is no longer fit to hold it. If this moment
qualify, what does?
Trump’s own former allies think he’s crossed a line that can’t be uncrossed. The people who voted for him, campaigned for him, and defended him for years are now publicly calling him dangerous.
If you’ve lost Marjorie Taylor Greene, you’ve lost the argument.
Please like and share if you believe that threatening to wipe out an entire civilization — from any president, of any party — should be an automatic disqualifier for the Oval Office.
