Pakistan Announces Immediate Ceasefire Between US, Iran and Allies, Including Lebanon

In a significant diplomatic development, Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has announced that the United States, Iran and their respective allies have agreed to an immediate ceasefire “everywhere, including Lebanon and elsewhere,” effective immediately.

The announcement, made via Prime Minister Sharif’s official statement on X, follows intensive Pakistani mediation efforts aimed at de-escalating regional hostilities.

Sharif described the move as a demonstration of “remarkable wisdom and understanding” by both sides and confirmed that follow-up talks will be hosted in Islamabad.

This ceasefire is framed as an initial step to allow space for broader negotiations. Developments remain fluid, and we will provide verified updates as more details emerge from official channels.
