LUBINDA CALLS FOR PF RECONCILIATION

The few times I have sat close by listening to Bo Given Lubinda, I have had no doubt in my mind regarding his wisdom, integrity and openness.

I have never engaged him directly but the few moments I have seen him up close and personal are enough to let me in into the inner soul of the man.

I can say the same thing about Makebi Zulu. With him, we ve had a few interactions – qualitative enough for me to confidently say that he is a very decent human being.

You can safely do business with him – even entrusting him with the darkest secrets of your life comfortable in the knowledge that he will take them with him to the grave.

In my view, the psychological profiles of each of the two can combine well with Brian Mundubile.

Like the two, Mundubile is a very decent human being, an epitome of a good and honest man.

He is a man you can form a pact with and expect to respect a verbal agreement. No matter the differences, Brian will never call you names nor stand on an anthill and falsely strip you naked.

The three – Brian, Makebi and Given can form an alliance which can not only be formidable but decent enough to survive any differences.

The three know very well the genesis of the problems that have thrown into disarray one of the most promising political parties in the history of Zambia.

It must be clear to Bo Lubinda by now whether what he is trying has any chance of durability, sustainability and success.

I respect the principle of reconciliation but I have concerns and reservations about the direction the effort is pointing to.

Investing the efforts of such a well-meaning, innocent and decent human being in such a venture is inadvisable.

It’s not too late for Bo Lubinda to invest in a reconciliatory effort with Brian Mundubile.

The three will draw into one place something equivalent to a premier league team that is certain to give Zambians a credible August 13, 2026 elections and by the same token give President Hichilema and the UPND, a run for their money.

It’s fun watching a premier league game featuring legendary global players such as Lionel Messi and Ronaldo.

The same can be said of an electoral contest especially when the stakes are as high as the future of 20 million souls.
