Trump Warns Iran: Hand Over Nuclear Stockpile Or We Will Take It By Force
Speaking aboard Air Force One on April 18, U.S. President Donald Trump warned that Washington would secure Iran’s buried enriched uranium stockpile by force if ongoing diplomatic negotiations fail to produce a deal.
“If we don’t do that, we will get it in a different form, in a much more unfriendly form,” Trump told reporters, referring to the approximately 440 kilograms of highly enriched uranium entombed underground at Iran’s Fordo, Natanz, and Isfahan nuclear sites following U.S. B-2 bomber strikes in June 2025.
Trump described a preferred scenario in which U.S. and Iranian personnel would jointly excavate and transfer the material to the United States, saying the operation would require large excavating equipment. He added that the naval blockade on Iranian ports would remain in effect until a final agreement is completed.
Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei firmly rejected U.S. claims that Tehran had agreed to any transfer, stating that enriched uranium “will not be transferred anywhere under any circumstances.”
A second round of negotiations is expected in Islamabad, with the current ceasefire set to expire on April 21. Significant gaps remain between the two sides, particularly on the fate of Iran’s nuclear program and the terms under which frozen Iranian assets may be released.

The USA under Mr. Trump is just as irresponsible as Iran. He has laid claim to Greenland and has hinted at taking it by force. He raided a sovereign country, kidnapped and held prisoner its president and forcibly took.over its oil fields.
Now he wants Iran’s enriched Uranium and is willing to take it by force. If the US and Israel can have nuclear weapons, why not Iran? What is good for the goose is good for the gander.
