CHIEF MUSHORO DIES

His Royal Highness Chief Mushoro (Lazarous Jere) holds this hereditary chieftaincy, and presides over the Dingeni Kraal in the Chipata and Chipangali districts of Zambia’s Eastern Province.

He serves under the paramount traditional ruler of the Ngoni, Paramount Chief Mpezeni

BEMBAS WILL CONTINUE POURING POWDER UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE TO THEIR TRIBAL COUSINS WHICH ARE EASTERNERS.

  1. People are Ngoni, not ‘Ngoni speaking.’ Even if they did speak Ngoni, it is a silly Zambian media tradition that is totally meaningless.
    Majority of people on the Copperbelt speak Bemba are they subjects of Chitimukulu? An even greater majority speak English, are they subjects of King Charles III?
    When are we going to stop being stubborn and denote our traditional rulers as simply ‘of the Ngoni’ or ‘of the Bemba’ or of the Tonga etc?
