MUNDUBILE CHALLENGES HH TO PUBLICLY CONDEMN POLITICAL V!OLENCE BY UPND CADRES
Tuesday, 7 July 2026.
NRPUP presidential candidate Brian Mundubile has challenged President Hakainde Hichilema to publicly denounce political violence and condemn recent ki!!ings linked to UPND cadres during the ongoing campaign period.
Addressing a campaign rally in Nsama District, Mr. Mundubile alleged that several lives had been lost in attacks involving UPND cadres and urged President Hichilema to distance himself from individuals behind acts of v!olence.
He cited the k!ll!ng of a person in Kaputa, claiming that attempts were initially made to blame the opposition, but that the truth had since emerged.
Mr. Mundubile also referred to the k!ll!ng of a radio technician in Lusaka who was attacked after playing the campaign song “Mundubile na Makebi Bengilile.”
He further noted with sadness that four people had been k!lled in Lusaka’s Kanyama area in incidents involving UPND cadres.
The NRPUP leader said his campaign team had remained peaceful despite what he described as repeated attempts to provoke them.
“This is our 20th rally, but we have not involved ourselves in v!olence. We have met UPND cadres, some blocking our way in an attempt to provoke us, but we have restrained ourselves,” Mr. Mundubile said.
He said his supporters had also avoided retaliation during confrontations in Chipangali and while travelling to Nsama, insisting that the alliance remained committed to peaceful campaigns.
Mr. Mundubile then appealed to President Hichilema to openly condemn all acts of political v!olence and ensure that those responsible are held accountable.
“Publicly condemn the loss of lives in Chawama, Kaputa and Kanyama. If you are innocent in these deaths, denounce your cadres publicly,” Mr. Mundubile said.

Aba nabo….you are too slow……because HH already condemned immediately that happened.
Imwe now waking up, proclaiming…
Kalaleni ne koloboi yenu.
Mundubile…unlike you and your cochorts who never acted on Jay Jay. HH has called for the investigation and arrest of the “Alleged” UPND cadres. Until those that were arrested last time are actually “PROVED” to be UPND cadres. The said “ALLEGED” UPND cadres could be your own members going around and seeking to discredit others.
Ba Mundubile critical thinking….After the “Reserve” debacle is questionable….
