VICE PRESIDENT NALUMANGO CONFIRMS SURVIVAL AFTER HELICOPTER CRASH EN ROUTE TO ISOKA

Vice President Mutale Nalumango has confirmed that she was involved in a helicopter crash while travelling for campaign activities in Muchinga Province, but says all eight people on board escaped unharmed.
Speaking after the incident, Mrs. Nalumango said the helicopter crashed approximately two minutes after take-off while the team was travelling from Nakonde to Isoka for campaign engagements.
“I can confirm that I was involved in a helicopter crash, but all of us, the eight people on board, are fine,” the Vice President said.
Mrs. Nalumango explained that the aircraft went down shortly after departing Nakonde, cutting short the team’s journey to Isoka where they were scheduled to conduct campaign activities.
The Vice President expressed gratitude for surviving the ordeal, attributing their safety to divine protection.
“Grateful to God as He is faithful,” Mrs. Nalumango said.
