🟧 UKRAINE IS BUILDING LAYER UPON LAYER OF DEFENSES TO BLEED ANY FUTURE RUSSIAN OFFENSIVE

New footage showcases the multi-layered engineering obstacles being constructed by the engineering troops of Ukraine’s Support Forces, revealing an increasingly sophisticated defensive network designed to stop Russian assaults long before they reach Ukrainian positions.

These are far more than simple trenches.

The system consists of multiple parallel anti-vehicle ditches and earthen barriers, forcing any attacking force to slow down, bunch together, and expose itself in open terrain.

We’ve already seen how devastating this strategy can be.

Around Pokrovsk, similar engineering obstacles proved incredibly costly for Russian forces. Assault groups attempting to climb the embankments or maneuver vehicles across the ditches became trapped in the open, where they were systematically hunted by FPV drones, artillery, and mortar fire. Videos from that sector showed destroyed armored vehicles and dozens of Russian soldiers lying along the defensive lines after failed assaults.

What makes these new fortifications stand out is their depth.

Where Pokrovsk often relied on a single major anti-vehicle line, these images appear to show multiple successive defensive belts, meaning that even if Russian forces breach one obstacle, they immediately encounter another. Every additional line buys more time for Ukrainian defenders and creates another kill zone for drones and artillery.

Modern warfare isn’t won by trenches alone.

It’s won by shaping the battlefield—forcing the enemy exactly where you want them before precision weapons do the rest.

Ukraine continues to turn its defensive lines into some of the most dangerous ground an attacking force can face. 🇺🇦
