BREAKING: Federal Judge Humiliates Trump, Rules His $10 Billion IRS Lawsuit Was a Scam
Trump just got humiliated in federal court, and this time there is no one else to blame.
U.S. District Judge Kathleen Williams ruled Monday that Trump’s $10 billion lawsuit against the IRS over his leaked tax returns was filed for an “improper purpose,” delivering one of the most stinging rebukes of his presidency and exposing the entire case as an exercise in self-dealing.
The scheme was as brazen as it gets. Trump sued the IRS, an agency he effectively controls, demanding $10 billion in taxpayer money. Then he quietly withdrew the case, and days later his administration unveiled a $1.766 billion compensation fund that lawmakers in both parties immediately condemned as a slush fund for the White House’s political allies.

Judge Williams saw exactly what was happening. After 35 former federal judges called on her to reopen the case, she launched an investigation into what she called “grievous allegations” that the deal was “premised on deception.”
Her conclusion was devastating. Trump and his lawyers acted “in bad faith,” she found, using the court to launder legitimacy onto a scheme designed to hand immunity to Trump’s allies and earmark billions in taxpayer dollars for grievances that do not exist in law.
She even prohibited the parties from calling the arrangement a “settlement.”
Then came the hammer. Williams referred Trump’s lawyer Alejandro Brito to the Florida bar for possible discipline, and ordered copies of her ruling mailed to the bar associations of Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche and Associate Attorney General Stanley Woodward.
The timing could not be worse for Trump. Blanche, his pick for attorney general, faces his Senate confirmation hearing in just two days, and now he will do it with a federal judge’s misconduct ruling following him into the room.
Trump tried to use the courts as a personal ATM, and a federal judge just shut the whole operation down. The law caught up with him, his lawyers are facing discipline, and the $10 billion payday is gone for good.
