IRGC Claims Missile Strike on U.S. Air Base in Jordan
Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced that it launched ballistic missiles targeting Prince Hassan Air Base in Jordan, a facility used by U.S. and allied forces.
According to the IRGC, the strike marked the first phase of its response to recent U.S. air operations against Iranian military infrastructure.
Jordanian military officials said air defense systems intercepted some of the incoming missiles, while Iran claimed the attack successfully hit fuel storage facilities and U.S. drone shelters at the base.
The Iranian claims have not been independently verified, and U.S. officials have not released an official assessment of the reported damage.
