KALABA REJECTS DEFECTION RUMOURS
Opposition Citizens First (CF) President Harry Kalaba has rejected rumours that he has defected to the ruling United Party for National Development (UPND).
This was revealed at a rally in Mbala District, Northern Province.
Mr Kalaba emphasised that he remains on the ballot as he has not endorsed or defected to any alliance other than the CF Orange Alliance.
The CF President pledged to work on the Kasama–Mbala road once sworn in as 8th President of the Republic of Zambia.
He promised to enhance social cash transfer so that the current two months is now monthly.
Mr Kalaba stressed that farmers must receive payment immediately instead of sleeping at depots waiting for funds they worked hard for.
