Sad News: TONSE PAMODZI ALLIANCE LUMEZI NORTH CANDIDATE CLEMENT MWALE DIES
The Tonse Pamodzi Alliance in Eastern Province has announced the death of its NRPUP Lumezi North Parliamentary Candidate, Mr. Clement Mwale.
In a statement, the alliance’s Eastern Province Chairman, Maxson Nkhoma, said Mr. Mwale died in the early hours of today, Thursday 16th July 2026.
Nkhoma described the late Mwale as a committed and hardworking member of the alliance, adding that his death is a loss to the people of Lumezi and Eastern Province.
Mr. Mwale previously served as Lumezi Council Chairperson from 2016 to 2021, where he was remembered for his service to the community.
The Tonse Pamodzi Alliance says it will formally notify the Returning Officer of the death of its parliamentary candidate.
